Meet Your Candidate
Hi, I’m Jodi Lewis—a Newton County homeowner, mom, and small business owner since 2012. I’m running for Georgia State House in District 118 because too many families feel like they’re doing everything right, but the system isn’t working for them.
I’ve spent years standing up for everyday people—leading work on tenant safety, advocating for civil rights, and pushing for real accountability when families are ignored. I’m running to bring that same energy and focus to District 118—so we can lower costs, protect our kids, strengthen our communities, and make sure government works for the people again.
Lower Cost of Living
Families are feeling squeezed—groceries, gas, housing, and everyday essentials. I’ll fight for practical, kitchen-table solutions that help working people keep more of what they earn and stay rooted in the communities they’ve built.
Improve Schools & Youth Outcomes
Our children deserve strong schools, safe environments, and real pathways to opportunity. I’ll advocate for resources that support student achievement, mental health, workforce readiness, and accountability—so every child can thrive.
Strengthen Public Safety
Public safety means prevention, smart policy, and accountability. I support strategies that reduce crime, strengthen community trust, and ensure families feel safe at home, at school, and in our neighborhoods—without sacrificing rights or dignity.
Protect Healthcare Access
No family should have to choose between getting care and paying bills. I’ll fight for accessible, affordable healthcare—prioritizing preventive care, mental health support, and policies that keep costs down for families and seniors.
Responsible Data Center Growth & Rural Land Protection
We support growth—but not at the expense of our water, power grid, roads, or rural character. I will push for clear standards so data centers pay their fair share, protect farmland and neighborhoods, and deliver real local benefits with transparency and accountability.
My Story
“I’m running because District 118 deserves a representative who listens, delivers, and fights for working families. Together, we can lower costs, strengthen our schools, protect public safety, and defend access to healthcare.”
